I'm wondering about different supermarkets people lean towards. I'm familiar with Genaurdis, Acme, and Giant. I know Costco's and BJs are good for bulk items but require a membership. Walmart will probably have good prices but I don't trust their meats or fresh produce. I am recently hearing about Bottom Dollar and Aldi, but not sure what their difference is. I work right next to a Trader Joes, and Wegmans has recently moved to the area, but I haven't been able to check it out. About me: I live in PA in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I usually shop by planning several meals and try to get a well rounded meal based on different meats. I like to cook and want to try a bunch of recipes requiring a bunch of ingredients. I want to get fresh products and not spend a lot of money, but I don't have time to clip coupons. Could you please compare the big chain stores like Giant and Acme to bulk up stores like Costco and BJ to the other stores and tell me the pros/cons of each?
